PJR Auto Service was founded in 2013 by a mechanic who'd spent years in the trades, watching customers get talked down to, upsold on work they didn't need, and treated like they didn't understand their own cars. She knew it could be different.
She opened a one-bay shop in the Dixie/Dundas industrial corridor with a simple promise: tell the truth, do the work right, charge a fair price. No upselling. No surprises. Just honest service.
Thirteen years later, that promise hasn't changed. We've grown from one bay to a full-service shop, with a 5.0 ★ Google rating across 17 reviews — most of them from neighbours who became regulars, who told their friends, who told their families.
We work on all makes and models — foreign and domestic, old and new. We use quality parts, write up-front estimates, and text you updates as the work happens. Because dropping your car off shouldn't feel like a leap of faith.
We're also female-owned and operated — which, in this industry, is still rare. We don't make a big deal of it. We just do the work, the way it should be done.
